Named after and featuring artwork by the legendary Dirty Three guitarist, Mick Turner, the room has been a favourite rehearsal and writing space for many. It’s natural light and calm aesthetic made it a productive writing space for Courtney Barnett, while she wrote her acclaimed second album ‘Tell Me How You Really Feel’ and the setting for the Avalanches pre-production before touring their hugely successful album ‘Wildflower’.
The Turner Room is fitted with: Soundcraft EFX12 mixing desk, 2 x FOH speakers, 2 x full range foldback wedges on 1 send, a DBX 231s graphic EQ unit and air conditioning.
