Errol Green, our in-house engineer, has over 10 years experience in studio and live music production. He is a multi-instrumentalist and performer of many genres of music, including his solo synthesizer organ experience E.Bobby.G, power electronoclasts Big Yawn, garage-fusion providers Yolke, as well as shapeshifting electronic project Exotic Snake.

In the studio and live he has worked with artists such as Amy Taylor (Amyl and the Sniffers), Courtney Barnett, Paul Kelly, Mick Turner, Jerry Barnes (Chic), Tim Rogers (You Am I), Sarah McLeod (The Superjesus), Adam Halliwell (Mildlife), Hayley Mary and more. As a performer he has shared the stage with the likes of Sleep D, YL Hooi, Fia Fiell, RVG, Regurgitator, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard and Leah Senior. 2023 saw him produce, record and mix The Slingers' ARIA shortlisted album Sentimentalism for Flightless Records.

Coming from a DIY music background before entering the world of professional audio, he excels at catalysing abstract ideas into polished finished productions, regardless of the limitations of the recording process. Placing the perceptual experience of the artist and performer as the most critical part of the recording process, his attentive and calm energy will ensure that your project is realised in its most natural and authentic form: sounding awesome.

Recording Rates

IN-HOUSE ENGINEER

A ten hour day at Bakehouse Studio in our North Richmond facility with an in-house engineers starts from $750. Recording rates with an experienced in-house engineer start at $75 per hour, with a minimum 5 hours for all recording bookings.

USE YOUR OWN ENGINEER

To use your own engineer in the Floyd studio, they will be required to complete an orientation with our in-house engineer prior to the date of your recording booking. Orientation rates are from $60 per hour, with a 3 hour minimum call out.

Engineers that have completed the orientation are approved for future access to the Floyd recording studio, with hire rates at $400 for a 10 hour day.
