Parking at Bakehouse: your go-to guide.

Bakehouse is located centrally - 100m from North Richmond station, 500m from Abbotsford, 700m from Collingwood station, 1.5km from Fitzroy/Carlton and 2.4km from the CBD, 4km from South Yarra/St Kilda. Northcote, Thornbury and Preston are all within a 20min drive.

Where to park during your Bakehouse rehearsals:

During office hours, there is plenty of street parking available - the closest is Elizabeth, Shelley, Regent and Butler with 2hr, 4hr and a few all day spots.

The best all-day parking spots are either side of the train station, i.e. Jonas St and Butler St.

If you’re in for an evening session, Elizabeth St and Regent St have free all-night parking spaces available from 5pm.

There’s also a Care Park parking garage located on 35 Elizabeth Street (130m from Bakehouse), which is open until 10pm Saturday through Thursday, and until 12am Fridays. Click here to see associated costs.

Note: Bakehouse has a very limited number of parking permits available for day sessions but will require a security deposit.

Where not to park during your Bakehouse rehearsals:

Please do not park in the neighbouring carpark (i.e. corner of Elizabeth and Lt. Hoddle Street). While this parking area is not allocated to Bakehouse, there is plenty of on street parking in the surrounding area, particularly next to the train station.

Load in/ load out

You can load in first via the big wooden doors on Little Hoddle street - you should see our sign out front of the building. Please keep your hazard lights on and park as close to our door as possible next to the red wall.

You’re welcome to leave your gear in the undercover entryway while you load in, however for anything valuable it’s best if you take it straight to your studio, or to the office for safe keeping, and please don’t leave anything unattended.
